Custom domain

In order to track conversions correctly in browsers other then Chrome on Desktop, you need to use a subdomain for poltio widgets. You can easily define and start using a custom domain following this steps.

How to create

Firts you have to visit Poltio and create a custom domain from settings > domains section.

After creating a custom domain from here you need to add 2 new records in order to complete the verification process and start using your domain.

One CNAME record to verify your ownership of the domain so we can create and use SSL Certificates with your custom domain and one A record to point your custom domain to Poltio Servers.

DNS records might take up to couple of hours for us to verify depending on your provider.

Name: _acme-challenge.poltio.yourdomain.com.

Type: CNAME

Value:

TTL (time to live): 300

Name: poltio.yourdomain.com.

Type: A

Value: 34.111.218.134

TTL (time to live): 300

After these steps, you can follow the status from Poltio settings > domains and add it to the page as follows after the status becomes live.
